Process an Information Request

When a SHPO reviewer needs more information to complete their review of a project, the reviewer may issue a formal information request through CRIS. The request will be included in the consolidated response that SHPO issues after signing off on a project submission. If you are a project contact and an authenticated user, the unprocessed information request will be listed under the My Information Requests tab on your dashboard.

The Information Requests grid on the response page has the following columns:

When you click the Process (green cog) button to fulfill a request, the wizard that launches will depend on the Request Type and Request Item, as listed below.

When all of the requests associated with a consolidated response are completed or otherwise closed, an alert will pop up: All information requests have been addressed. Completed requests can be edited using the Process button. You can continue within CRIS by choosing another menu option. The requests will also be removed from the My Information Requests tab on your dashboard. The response that contains the request will still be accessible under the My Consolidated Responses tab on your dashboard.
