View Submitted Resource

When you open a submitted resource record from a USN, survey, submission, or project record, the submitted resource information displays in a simplified details module, as shown below for a submitted built resource.

• Overview: This tab contains the map interface on the right, with the submitted resource point or polygon highlighted in light blue. Other layers will display on the map as well. On the left is a list of fields that provide basic information about the resource.
  • Name: The submitted name of the resource. This may differ from the name that SHPO saves in the USN record.
  • Location: The address or intersection supplied for the resource, if present.
  • Type: The resource’s main category: Building, Archaeology, or Building District.
  • Class: The resource’s subcategory: Building, Structure, Object, Site, or Archaeological Site.
  • USN: The new USN created from the submitted resource, or the existing USN the resource was linked to.
  • Location Status: The status of SHPO’s processing of the resource.
    • Unprocessed: SHPO has not yet processed the resource.
    • Unreconciled: SHPO has linked the resource to an existing USN, but has not yet reconciled the submitted data with the existing USN data.
    • Completed: SHPO has finished processing the resource. If SHPO linked the resource to an existing USN, SHPO has also reconciled the resource data with the USN data.
  • Location Result: The outcome of the resource’s processing.
    • USN Created: SHPO created a new USN record from the submitted resource.
    • Linked to USN: SHPO linked the resource to an existing USN.
    • Update Requested: The resource consists of updates to an existing USN, as requested by SHPO.
    • Ignored - No Action: SHPO decided not to add the resource to its USN inventory.
  • Processed By: The name of the SHPO reviewer who processed the resource. This will be blank if the resource is a requested USN update, since USN updates are automatically linked to existing USNs.
  • Processed Date: The date on which the SHPO reviewer finished processing the resource. This will be blank if the resource is a requested USN update.
  • Reconciled By: The name of the SHPO reviewer who reconciled the resource with an existing USN. This will be blank if a new USN is created or if the new data is accepted automatically.
  • Reconciled Date: The date on which the SHPO reviewer reconciled the data.
  • Comment: The submitter’s comments to SHPO regarding the resource, such as the proposed eligibility status or a known USN number.
• The submitted resource inventory form tab uses the same design as the USN Inventory Data tab. The tab label and contents depend on the resource type.
  • Building Inventory Form: For submitted buildings, structures, objects, and above-ground sites only.
  • Archaeology Inventory Form: For archaeological sites only.
  • District Inventory Form: For historic districts (building districts) only.
• Photos: A grid of photograph records submitted with the resource.
• Attachments: Documentation pertaining to the submitted resource.

Note: Due to security measures, photograph and attachment uploads are not accessible through this module. After SHPO processes the resource into a USN record, you may view the files in the USN’s Photos or Attachments (Atts.) tab.
