The Correspondence (Corr.) tab is included in the Project Details modules for all project types. It provides a table of communications between SHPO and project contacts. Below is an example from the Consultation Project Details module.
The Correspondence grid contains the following columns:
- View: The View (magnifying glass) button opens the View Correspondence module, which contains additional information about the correspondence record, including the description, details, and the contact’s email address.

Type: The category of the correspondence.
- Consolidated Response - Submission: A consolidated response from SHPO regarding their review of a particular submission. If you click the linked text in this column, a read-only copy of the consolidated response page will open. - Effect Finding: An impact or effect finding that results from SHPO’s review of a consultation project. If you click the linked text in this column, a copy of the effect finding page will open, which has an Attachments grid with a button to download each finding letter. The most recent finding letter will be labeled with the attachment type Effect Finding. Finding letters that have been superseded will be labeled with the attachment type Prior Effect Finding.
- General: Any correspondence that does not belong to the above categories, such as meetings, emails outside of CRIS, and phone calls.
- Mode: The method of communication: Email, Mail, Phone, Text, or Meeting.
- Token: For consolidated responses, this column displays the response token that can be used to view or address the response.
- Date Sent: The date the response or effect finding email was sent, or the date on which the general correspondence item was recorded in CRIS.
- Sent By: The name of the SHPO reviewer who sent or recorded the correspondence.
- Sent To: The project contact who received or was otherwise involved in the correspondence.
