Becoming an Authorized Trekker User

 

 

 

 

Before a CRIS user can be added to a Trekker Survey Project team or utilize any of the Trekker applications, SHPO must authorize the CRIS user for Trekker access. To become an Authorized Trekker user, send an email to trekkerhelp@parks.ny.gov  requesting Trekker access for the desired user. At a minimum, the email should contain the name and NY.GOV email address associated with the users CRIS account. If the Trekker Survey project(s) for which the user will be participating as a team member is known, please include that information in the email as well.

 

It is important to note that the CRIS user that submits a Trekker Survey proposal is automatically authorized for Trekker access if they are not already authorized prior to submitting the survey proposal (the CRIS user that submits the Trekker survey proposal is automatically assigned as the "Lead" for the project).
