Editing Proposed Districts using the Inbox

Given the fact that Proposed Districts must be created in Manager, all field data collection (typically focused on the capture of streetscape photos) must be done by editing Proposed District data using the Survey123 Inbox. The process for using the Inbox for editing Proposed Districts in Survey123 is nearly identical to Building Inventory forms.

It is important to note that the “Inbox” only shows Proposed Districts that are at the following two status’

Proposed

Needs Editing (flagged by SHPO)

Note: Once a Proposed district is "Approved" by SHPO it can no longer be edited in Manager or using the Inbox in Survey123

To edit a Proposed District (that already exists within the Trekker Survey Project) using Survey123, follow the steps below:

1.From the "My Surveys" page in Survey123, open the Proposed District form for the appropriate Survey project (e.g., 19SR00074 - Proposed District)

2.Click the Inbox tab (note: any districts listed are from the last use, therefore the list MUST be refreshed)

3.Click Refresh to retrieve all available districts within the survey project that are at Proposed or Needs Editing status

4.To retrieve a district for editing, click the desired district in list view and the form will displayed for editing

(Optionally, the user can click the Map button to switch to “Map view", then click Refresh to retrieve only those Inbox buildings within the geographic extent of the map)
