Editing Building Inventory Forms using the Inbox

 

 

 

 

When a consultant is required to edit building data further in the field, the Survey123 “Inbox” can be used to retrieve a building inventory form for editing. It is important to note that the Survey123 Inbox only shows forms that are at the following two status’:

 

Incomplete (flagged by consultant)

Needs Editing (flagged by SHPO)

 

To edit a building Inventory form (that already exists within the Trekker Survey Project) using Survey123, follow the steps below:

 

1.From the "My Surveys" page in Survey123, open the Inventory form for the appropriate Survey project (e.g., 19SR00074 - Inventory Form)

2.Click the Inbox tab  (note: any buildings listed are from the last use, therefore the list MUST be refreshed)

3.Click Refresh to retrieve all available buildings within the survey project that are at Incomplete or Needs Editing status

4.To retrieve a building for editing, click the desired building in list view and the form will displayed for editing

 

(Optionally, the user can click the Map button to switch to “Map view", then click Refresh to retrieve only those Inbox buildings within the geographic extent of the map)

 

 

It is important to note that when editing using the Inbox, the form will not display any current photos for the building. However, the Photograph section can be used to take additional photos of the building.
