The Nomination Data tab in the National Register Project Details module provides detailed information about the project’s nomination. This information generally corresponds to the sections in the National Register of Historic Places Registration Form (10-900). For more details about these form sections, see Chapter III of National Register Bulletin 16A, How to Complete the National Register Registration Form.

The information is divided into various tabs. Note that not all fields may be filled in. See the nomination form PDF under the Attachments (Atts.) tab for the official nomination documentation that was provided to the National Park Service.

Overview

Section 1. Name of Property
- National Register Number: SHPO’s identifying number for the nomination in the format 16NR00078, where 16 is a 2-digit year (2016 in this example) and 00078 is a 5-digit sequence number.
- Historic Name: The name that represents the nominated property’s historic significance or the common name for it during its period of significance.
- Other Names/Site Number: Any other common names or identifying numbers for the nominated property.

Section 2. Location
- Number & Street: The street address or location description for the nominated property.
- City or Town: The name of the city, village, hamlet, or locality in which the nominated property resides.
- State: The state in which the nominated property resides. This will be New York (NY) in CRIS.
- County: The name and FIPS code for the county in which the nominated property resides, such as Genesee(037).
- ZIP Code: The ZIP code in which the nominated property resides.
- Not for Publication: Whether the nomination’s location information is restricted from the public.
- Vicinity: Whether the nominated property is in the vicinity of a city, village, hamlet, or other locality.

Section 3. State/Federal Agency Certification
- Meets the National Register Criteria: Whether the New York State Historic Preservation Officer or Deputy State Historic Preservation Officer believes that the property meets the National Register criteria specified in the nomination.
- Property is considered Nationally/Statewide/Locally Significant: Whether the certifying official believes that the property is significant at the local, state, and/or national levels.

Section 10. Geographical Data
- Acreage of Property: The total number of acres that are nominated.

Section 11. Form Prepared By
- Date Prepared: The date on which the nomination form was completed.

Classification (Section 5)
- Ownership of Property: Whether the nominated property is privately or publicly owned. Public ownership is categorized as local (such as a municipal building), state, and/or federal.
- Category of Property: Whether the nominated property is a building, district, site, structure, or object.
- Name of Related Multiple Property Listing: If the property is nominated as part of a multiple property submission, the name of the submission will display here as a hyperlink. - Number of Contributing Resources Previously Listed in the National Register: The number of contributing resources in a nomination that were previously listed on the National Register. (This field is not currently functional.)
